Our Story
Three Decades of Roofing Expertise
With more than three decades of experience, Mr. Wilson's Roofing is built on a legacy of craftsmanship, integrity, and proven performance. Our owner, David, founded Southern Residential Installations and led its growth into a highly respected company before its acquisition by TopBuild in 2022.
Retaining the roofing division, he re-established it as Mr. Wilson's Roofing—bringing the same leadership, expertise, and commitment to excellence under a more focused vision. Today, we specialize in delivering high-quality roofing systems with an emphasis on precision, durability, and long-term value.
Every project is executed with meticulous attention to detail, that reflects our confidence in both our process and our people. Frequently Asked Questions
How much does a new roof cost?
Roof costs vary based on the size, pitch, material, and complexity of the roof. We provide a free inspection and detailed estimate so you know exactly what your roof will cost with no surprises.
Do you offer financing?
We offer financing through our partner, Hearth, with promotional rates as low as 0% APR for up to 24 months, subject to credit approval and program terms.
Do you handle insurance claims for storm damage?
Yes, and we do more than file paperwork. We document the damage thoroughly, meet your adjuster on site, and advocate on your behalf so you receive the full coverage you are entitled to.
What gauges, materials, and panel profiles do you offer for standing seam metal roofing?
We offer 24 and 26-gauge standing seam metal roofing with a durable Kynar® PVDF coating. Panel profiles are available in flat, double-ribbed, and striated finishes
Do you really have your own roll forming machine for standing seam metal?
Yes. We have our own standing seam roll-forming machine, allowing us to form panels on-site to the exact length needed. This reduces unnecessary seams and gives your roof a cleaner, more precise installation.
What type of roofing do you install?
Architectural asphalt shingles, standing seam and exposed-fastener metal, natural and synthetic cedar shake, and TPO membrane for flat and low-slope commercial roofs. We run our own standing seam roll-forming machine, so metal panels are cut to exact length on site.
What warranty comes with my roof?
Warranty depends on the type of material you use. Qualifying shingle systems can be covered up to 15 years on labor and 50 years on materials if you choose a GAF shingle. On new construction the manufacturer warranty is transferrable to the homeowner as well.
